At the age of 16 Jake unsuccessfully answered an advert for a male model somewhere in Ryrie Street. He somehow stumbled into Steve Bennett Hifi and using his obvious charm (see photo), conned our office girl into putting him on the payroll. To this day nobody knows who (or if anyone) actually hired him.
